The Corru-Gator offers the fastest, easiest, and most efficient method of corrugating your right or left hand barber, pet grooming, and industrial scissors or shears. We recommend using the Corru-Gator in conjunction with the Ookami Gold® Scissors Sharpening System or the Twice As Sharp® Scissors Sharpening Systems.

The Corru-Gator comes fitted with a fine tooth diamond wheel. The Fine Tooth diamond wheel features 72 teeth per inch and lasts for approximately 100 - 200 scissors with light pressure. The Coarse Tooth diamond wheel features 48 teeth per inch This wheel allows the user to create a corrugated cutting edge designed to cut industrial materials such as Kevlar®, Fiberglass, Carbon Fiber, aramids, ballistics materials, and other advanced textiles by holding the fibers in place which prevent it from sliding or bunching. A corrugated edge is also suitable for certain barber and pet grooming scissors where a corrugated finger blade is preferred.

The Corru-Gator also comes fitted with an arm and clamp assembly that can be set to match all possible angles on scissors and shears up to 14 inches in length. This allows you to confidently corrugate any shear to the exact angle best suited to your customer’s needs. If you ever have questions about angles or how to sharpen different styles of shears, the Corru-Gator comes with an in-depth manual that lists many of the best angles for each different style.
